WARNING! PICTURES BOMBARDMENT COMING UP!
hehe so sorry been missing in action since my previous show off goosepimply post. i had my finals after study break. lets not remind me of how scary it was staring blankly at my Biopsych essay questions, and lets focus on the joy of celebrating exam freedom and holiday =)
my last paper was the horrible Biopsych, and then, it was time for ALL WORK NO PLAY, NO STRESS ALL PARTAY! and where's the nearest place we can chillax??? MID VALLEY, of cos!!!
Dear came to pick me from college after im done with paper. i havent seen him since he was back from Vietnam-China!!! ooh...finally saw my darling again!!! kekeke and i got so so SOOOooooOOOO many souvenirs!!! lets see, i've got a bar of Hershey's dark chocolate, an army pattern beach shorts from Vietnam, a notebook from Beijing 2008 Olympics official store, and also a Beijing 2008 face towel. wee!!! and his mom got me a crystal bracelet for helping them do some Chinese translating. wee wee wee~!
there were so many B.Psych students in MV, like Michelle and gang were having dinner in Kenny Rogers. But we didnt all hang out together la...just me, Darling, Nat, Dan, Mel, Oon Yow, Jon Sern, Alex, Beng Tack and Hua Fu. Here are some pictures...

The entire gang
Now, its finally time for dinner! we convoyed in 4 cars to get to Fatty Bak Kut Teh in Old Klang Road. we first had to meet Raymond in Plaza OUG cos he just finished work, and only Nat and Dan know where's the restaurant. so, it was Jon Sern with Alex, Hua Fu and Beng Tack in his car, Oon Yow with Mel (noone knows if she's on him or next to him >.<) and Dear and I in another car. if u know us well enough, it was 3 not-so-law abiding drivers (the euphenism of IMPATIENT) behind a super law abiding, super relax driver.
anyway, we finally reached...
Alex brought his own tea leaves
Nat got a handbag from Jon Sern and Yi Ping
Nat got a flower from an unknown Uncle sitting in another table
Nat's bday cake...a surprise from Daniel, with the help of Jon Sern
Which birthday celebration doesnt end with this??
Hehehe that was it....a dinner to celebrate Nat's birthday (she's no longer a teenager!), the end of 2nd Year uni, and also Nat and Dan's 10th month anni.
Well, that was Friday, December 14th. Then the next day, Dear and I went to Bangsar Shopping Complex to volunteer for World Vision's Gift of Hope campaign. we were on the evening shift, 4pm-10pm, Saturday and Sunday. we both helped out last year too, but we took morning shift last year, so tried out evening shift this time.
Our first customers on our very first day were these kids! There were students from SK Damasara Jaya, selling calendars to raise fun to Save Our Hornbill. so Dear and i bought a calendar each, while they bought a teddy bear each from our booth.
Good thing Dear and I weren't working long term in BSC, cos dinner will probably use up all the money earned in a day. On the first night we had La Bodega...i wasnt feeling hungry so we ordered only one pasta, and 2 tapas. i really love their bread...its so soft in the centre, yet tough at the edges. keekke Darling wont be please to see me post this sentence on blog, but i had rm70 worth of dinner, which consisted mainly bread! YUM~!!!
These are pics from our 2nd day...
The team on Sunday was Kok Seong, Me, Susan, Yan Ling, and Dear (behind the camera)
On our second day, we had dinner in this new restaurant in BSC, called WIP, which stands for Work In Progress. im serious, thats what they said on their leaflet. Deco is really cool. They have both Western and Asian cuisine, so we ordered one of each type...

Closing up our booth at 10pmYep, that was my weekend, both Sat and Sun spent shopping in the mornings, and raising funds in the afternoon til night. Ooh ooh...we ended our sales with the contribution of Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato' Dr Lim Kok Wing!!!
Next up, is Bachelor of Psychology Parkside Romance Prom night!!! first time ever our Department organize our own prom instead of sharing with ADP, so good job to the committee members! good job B.Psych student council!

Besides performances, they had this game open for all audience. They asked guys to volunteer to participate in the game to win prizes, and Dear, Jon Sern, Daniel stood up. Isn't Darling super sporting? He's attending a prom as an outsider, but he was so so sporting! They started the flow, and soon 3 other guys also volunteered. Guess what they had to do? Each of them had to serenade one HELP lecturer or staff!!! As in, croon any love song of their choice to any staff of their choice...
Jon Sern serenading Cindy Joon
*huuuuu~* my darling serenading other girl! in front of my eyes!
Oh well, i dont mind sharing a lil of his amazing singing talent with other people geh =)
Prom was great....though i found out my dress was on sales 2 days after prom day itself. Cis...could have saved RM80. oh well, according to CLEO, every girl should own at least one LBD (Little Black Dress, not LiBiDo) so i've finally got mine!!! a simple black velvet dress... ^o^
