A good CNY so far!

Hehehe~ yesh its had been very good CNY so far! My tummy is especially happy! But not my throat though...it's starting to sore...must've been the Double Mandarin Orange that I eat daily @.@

Taiping wasn't as boring this year! Last year there was this new Tesco which everyone flocked to. This year there was upgrade again! Right next to Tesco there was this Taiping Central, where there was Starbucks and Oldtown Kopitiam and, ooh get this, a CINEMA!!!

It wasn't GSC nor TGV...

It was called...

BIG CINEMA

lmao~!

Oh well, like how there was a KFC imitation in Taiping (called KLG), this cinema was a GSC imitation. The snack counter to the font of the cinema hall number looked like GSC. Oh I felt right at home babeh!

After reunion dinner, both my brothers, my 3 cousins and I went to watch The Wedding Game, starring Fann Wong. When we were getting ready to leave the house, my aunty asked my mom "The young ones are going out already, what are we old ones gonna do?'

My mom's plans were to do self-manicure and to wrap angpau. Mwehehehe have fun Mommy! Don't say we didn't invite you along for movie!

Movie was good! Funny yet touching. But Singaporean movies don't seem to differ much from each other in their funny-ness (think of Money No Enough and Follow The Rules).

The next night, after all those visiting during the day, again my brothers, cousins and I went out for late night yamcha. Wanted to watch All's Well Ends Well, but no more tickets. Wanted to hangout in Old Town also takde seats, even at 11.30pm OMG!!! We ended up yamcha in hawker center. I bet 80% of the cinema and restaurant is filled by KL-ians and Penangites, cos the whole Taiping mini-town was jam pack with cars with number plats starting with W's and B's and P's...all the Aces were outnumbered *Perak cars start with A*

I came back KL on Tuesday night. I was supposed to start work on Wednesday, but suddenly car couldn't start, so I didn't work lor. And it was a good thing that I got the day free, cos Sharon and Ally came to my house to pai nin! Hehehe so long since I've met up with them!

So I started my waitressing job on Thursday, and it was good! Very busy but I enjoyed myself. Really nice colleagues and Boss ^o^

After work on Thursday, Dear and I went to Soo Ann's house to pai nin. Dear was so surprised that I had never been to Soo Ann's house before, despite me knowing her since I was in Standard One. But when he finally reached her house, he understood why it was always her coming out than me going into her place....cos people, Taman Bukit Indah is nestled in the innest, most confusing, most complicated part of Malaysia. To reach her taman you gotta drive through tens of other housing areas. If Deniece didn't come out to guide us in, we would never have reached her place.... @"@

On Saturday I went to Dear's CNY open house! It was that night that I tossed my first yee sang of this CNY, gambled my first black jack of this CNY, watched my first lion dance for this CNY (if not counting the 5 ekor singa that I saw in The Curve BEFORE CNY). As always, I lost money while gambling, but....BUT...Dear won alot! So the results is the same! I get a free meal! Wee~!!!

OK time for bed! It's been a long day today. I worked from 11am til 5pm, then met Sharon and Ally for Sharon's farewell dinner. Tomorrow got class ady...early class somemore...how I wish everyday is holiday and CNY visitations and angpau collecting *pout* I've got a speech to make tomorrow...first assignment of my Public Speaking course...I'll finally know how good (or bad) a speaker I am! Wish me luck!

Good night!
