Hey people!
I'll be leaving to Taiping, the land of wireless-less (psych students, this is NOT a double negative >.< ) in 6 to 7 hours time. So last update to wish everyone a Happy Ox-y Chinese New Year~!
I've spoke to some people, and I read back my previous post, and now I feel so thankful to have somewhere to go back to, somewhere to assemble to celebrate Chinese New Year. I feel that having this once-a-year change of environment, despite how kampung Taiping is, makes CNY something more special than other occasions. The fact that every relative return to this same spot increases the whole festive mood
Some people do not return to any particular hometown, or do not meet up with other relatives, typically have the whole season flying by like any other day. CNY had always been the most happening occasion in my life, so I cannot imagine NOT celebrating this season
Yay~ tomorrow can eat Grandma's cooking! Can drink beer with my uncle! Can kacau my cousin, Si Bawang Besar!
Oh btw, I am now posted in One Utama's Haagen Dazs branch, instead of Bangsar Village, because BV does not need staff during "low-peak hours" hahaha in order to accommodate my weird schedule of 12pm til 5pm on 3 weekdays, the lady had to check with almost all Haagen Dazs outlets (i.e. Bangsar Village, Mid Valley, Sunway Pyramid) before confirming with me that One Utama is understaffed at those times
Wokayz, I gotta continue packing now. New clothes - check. New lingerie - check. Specifically RED undergarment - check. New shoes - check. New socks - check. New handbag - check. Cosmetics - check. Toiletries - check. Ooh...I need to pack earrings and hair accessories!
May everyone have a warm reunion with family members and loved ones, and a prosperous, productive, joyful year ahead!
