Yeah finally im gonna upload pictures of my Bali trip!
I’ve been pretty busy, socially. Last week I went for HELP’s version of Amazing Race in Malacca. No handphone, no money, no map or guidebook allowed, just me and my team members (and a team escort) to go from station to station, perform tasks after tasks. It was real fun!
After HMC Rush (the official event name for Amazing Race thingy), I took part in 30-hour Famine for the 5th year! But this time playing no role at all besides being an observer and supporter. Gotta say, Eric Hiew did a good job!
Before i say more about those events, finally can blog in full details about my Bali trip ^o^
On 6th August 2009, the evening of an ordinary Thursday, I was about to leave work early to go home to pack for my Bali trip, when I received message from Dear that we may not be going after all. Apparently there has been some screwed up, and there were no airplane nor hotel bookings under our names =.=
It was only 7pm that evening that I found out that I am confirmed taking a 9am flight to Bali the next day…
On 7th August 2009…on a Friday morning when most people rushed to school, university or work, I was…
Counting my millions…
And watching Sex Drive uncensored version in an airplane ^o^
By noon…I see the waves!!!
We’ve landed on Denpasar Airport, Bali!
Sememangnya a very cultural place…even the airport has very unique architecture. As we leave the airport in our Toyota Kijang (Balinese renamed version of Toyota Unser), we see all sorts of carvings and sculptures and temples along the roads
Alright, so our plane ride was smooth, there was no errors in bookings. What about our hotel reservation? Do we really have a place to stay that night?
We told our driver, Wayan, to send us to Swiss-Belhotel in Nusa Dua. With the price that we paid for this Bali package, we just expect a simple 3-Star hotel that is clean and liveable
Suddenly Wayan turned into this place…
While waiting to check in, we received welcome drinks…
I really thought that Wayan brought us to the wrong hotel
Suddenly the receptionist said “I’m sorry, our rooms are fully booked… (see, i told you! A smooth flight is more than we can ask for, now we have no rooms over our heads tonight!)…we’ll upgrade you to stay in our villa”
*gulp*
Did I hear correctly?
Dear really didn’t hear it right, because he asked her to repeat. LOL. I wasn’t the only shocked one
Let the reality hit you the way it hit us…
Our ride to our villa…
On the way to our villa…
The door of our villa…
This whole thing is our villa…
This is the interior…
This is the overly satisfied customer…
OMG!!!!!!
Can you believe it?
I couldn’t then, I still can’t now!
Too overly jakun-fied happy with our private villas
Well well well, the amazing-ness had just began!
First activity in Bali….
SHOPPING!!!
And we shop til the sun goes down…
Balinese likes dicks alot…
So i brought some back ^^
Food in Bali is pretty good…i like lor…very kau spices taste
The villa was really too chun, we just spent our 1st night chilling
The villa was so comfy that some lazy pig didn’t wanna get up…
Ngek ngek ngek!!!
I purposely open the door so wide that the sun shines directly into his face >.<
