Holiday has started!
Final paper on Saturday...finished 2pm then I was whipped off straight to Melaka! Hehe Darling rewarded me with a makan-makan trip to Melaka for being such a hardworking student. Before we start to makan in Melaka, we makan in Chilis in the newly renovated BSC. wah....everything tastes better when I'm feeling stress-less ^^
So we were in Melaka over the weekend, stayed a night in A'Famosa Resort with Wei Luen and his Dance World gang. First time meeting them but it was so fun! In total there were 8 of us in the villa...and those people seriously made full use of the private swimming pool in the villa....lol
*I malas to copy paste pictures from Facebook*
On Monday there was Nat's 21st birthday celebration. Everyone thought Nat's 21st celebration would be H-U-G-E~!!! But with thesis and final exam right before her birthday, how would she have the time nor the mood to plan party leh? So it was a small cosy BBQ party in her house, and that was how Natalie, the baby of the group, ushered in her adulthood.... ^o^

On Tuesday, it was Department of Psychology's Annual Prom. It was held in Sime Darby Convention Centre, a really nice place. Initially I didn't plan to go, despite the whole "it's our final prom" and all, I really didn't want to worry about buying prom tickets or planning my prom dress when I have thesis report to occupy my entire brain. Just seeing the prom posters around college made me stress, what more to actually commit myself into going
But in the end, our choir group was invited to perform, so I had to attend.
Me and my handsome prom date =)
Me posing with Nat, in my super high slit cheongsum...
Nat's and Dan's amazing sexy Rhumba performance...
The prom committee's Cha Cha performance
Our Choir performance
That's me! That's me!
Hungry! Time for food! The buffet really not bad ya'know....there were chicken, fish, lamb, beef, sotong, prawn, and mussel, on top of the usual fried rice, pasta, vege and toufu. Plenty of variety of dessert too, but I didn't try the cakes, I like the bubur chacha!
There were plenty of performances that night, but this 17-year old Shean Lee impressed us most. He did beatboxing (if you, like me, never heard of that term, think of Justin Timberlake and his verbal impersonation of many many drumbeats with just his mouth)
Then we had the HELP Street Boys! Introducing the lead singer....
Dr Goh Chee Leong!
The drummer....Dr Albert Liao!
The guitarist, Mr Gerard Louise, and the pianist, Mr Kenneth Phun
Lastly, standing in the dark, a very talented guitarist, Justin!
Another chun performance by our friends...
Mel and Vin performing Jive!
Besides performances, there was a surprise game...
I represented my table for a "mystery game"
A perverted looking butler came to collect our slippers...
Then these "lost princes" came to match their slippers with their Cinderellas
And we all Waltzed with our prince. My prince was Leonard Chua =)
Then it was time to crown Prom King and Prom Queen, but this year its different. There was Princess and Prince for Year 1 students...
Duke and Duchess for Year 2 students
And...
King and Queen for Year 3 students...
YAY!!! Queen Nat and King Dan!!!
The prom ended with dance floor of course!
Then, its photo snapping time!
Guys behind the camera, girls in front of the camera! hohoho!!
Popular Dr Goh...mwehehehe...
My poor date cum photographer was desperate to be in front instead of behind the camera...hehehe!
Awwww....hunny thanks for being my prom date!
P/S: Dear took plenty of amazing photographs with his SLR, but these pictures had been reduced in size (and quality) for uploading sake. SLR pictures are so so nice! Make me look so much pweetier than normal digital camera! ^^
