hey there ppl!
its been one week...boy..forgot how does it feel to blog. forgot how i look forward to report my entire day online. forgot how it feels like to rant and rave crap (and emotional) stories freely. yeah wei...im that busy! last night had the longest sleep in this entire 2 weeks...which is 6hrs. sigh...luckily got bio-essense eye bag vanishing serum to hide those huge, huge sagging eyebag!
i havent even blogged about Yee Hua's farewell last Sunday, but now i gotta announce this: Yee Hua is currently in the plane, on her way to total freedom, total independence, totally new culture. she's furthering her studies in bio-med in Uni of Newcastle (in Aussie, not the UK one...). yep, another friend has left to spread her wings. all my best wishes and misses and hugs to you girl! i know u'll do great there, and return as better-than-great person that u already are. for these years that i've knew you, i know you are very capable of taking of yourself, to adapt, to fit in, and to handle whatever obstacle that may come your way. but do remember, i'll be here whenever u need a friend, im here girl....or even when u dun need one, i'll be annoyingly here to pester u! ^o^
in my last post, i was down, i was upset, i was almost into depression (though i barely fulfill the requrements of DSM-IV-TR to be diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, or even Depressive Disorder NOS). well, perhaps i can be diagnosed with Adjustment Disorder la, cos was having problem adjusting to life without my other half. man...i didnt know i was so dependent til darling left! and i also realise i need solid, concrete, physical support. long-distance emotional support not so effective for me...doesnt cure my feeling of loneliness...*sobs*
well, luckily i had great friends in college to keep me company. and also college and assignments and quizzes to stay busy, stay tired, to have any free time to let my mind wander. oh yeah, community service had began too! omg....the children are so adoringly cute! though they're naughty and mischievious, but that's what make them cute! so innocent and totally oblivious to their surrounding. they're just lost in their own world! and to all you people who has stereotype thinking towards children with learning disability, let me tell you that they look exactly the same as any other ordinary children, if not cuter. seriously, i couldnt even notice that one girl was actually Down syndrome today. i've learnt about the obvious physical characteristics of a Down syndrome patient, but she doesnt look like one at all! these children are super hyperactive and cheeky, but they're not aggressive at all. its so cute to see one boy pulling the shirt of another boy, but the other boy just look at him, and continue daydreaming. the only difference between these group of special children and normal kids in kindergarten is the lack of verbal speech/argument. they laugh and scream but they cant talk. autistic children have difficulty in speech. they can slowly repeat words after you, but not able to form sentences on their own. but its cureable...and thats why Katsu Centre is there to help...
yay yay! tmr my turn to get my hands on the kids! (not in an abusive manner) today Daniel and I was stuck in office preparing teaching materials while Nat and Dita got to help out in the classroom. how unfair! *pout* but Ms Serena said i'll get my turn tmr! teehee! *big happy grin* ok back to work before i chat with Faraway Darling! ^_^
