its 16th Feb! its Valentine's Sel-EV style! darling finally came back from China the night before...gosh i wish i could meet him at airport. but then again, i was busy doing last min shopping with mom, dad and bro in Sg Wang. had manicure+pedicure appointment at 6pm with mommy. then met up with the guys and teman dad buy new clothes. fuiyo...suddenly i love the stock market despite all these years of uninterestness, cos when it rose, daddy became super good mood, and super generous! he got me and bro a pair of Levi's each! he usually complains about us being materialistic, spendthrift, etc, but wow...he got me a Levi's jeans!!! ^o^
darling landed and called me when my Levi's was on the cashier. wowie! darling is back! he's standing on the same land as me! we're no longer separated by thousands of miles and no deep ocean between us! so so happy!!! but it was late...and he was tired and hungry...so we didnt meet that night. but next morning, darling came over as early as he could!!!
kekekkeke....gosh...as soon as he saw me he was laughing away. he was speechless, just giggling sillyly. gawd...it felt so good to hug him again after so long. we just stood there, hugging as tight as we could to make up for the past 2 weeks. he bought so so many stuffs for me!

Apparently Dear had a whole day planned out. he told me to blindfold myself as he drove us somewhere. oh gosh...i'd thought he wouldn't have time to plan anything since he was away for 2weeks. i was having a headache, so i blindfold myself, held Darling's hand, and slept peacefully til we reached...
I knew we were in a basement carpark, but i have no idea where we were. Darling parked, and woke me up with a kiss. hmmm....i wasnt allowed to open my blindfold yet...
oh no...he wants me to get down and walk! oh no!!! part of me was afraid i'll embarass myself, while another part of me was so excited about the plans he had. so he led me into thru this door, and immediately i could feel aircon. it was super quiet. oh no...the smell...the sound...it feels like such a posh place! (well, ok, actually i knew i was in a hotel because i overheard his conversation with his mom earlier on. oops. not on purpose!) ok, so i knew i was in a hotel, but where? oh gosh, knowing im in a hotel scare me even more. i dun wanna look silly in front of rich and elegant ppl!!! we entered a lift, and i could hear someone else inside. i heard a lady's voice whispering "Good luck!" to Dear. then we stepped out on the 6th floor, and Dear led me somewhere. walk...walk...walk...then, whisper...whisper...whisper.. "Are you Mr. Ooi?" *heart thumping so loudly in my chest* my hand was gripping Dear's hand even harder now. quick! quick! where am i dear?!!! what are you doing? what is going on? finally, Dear asked me to sit. then he was ruffling about a little. then...."OK, you can take off your blindfold now"
.....*slowly pull off blindfold*....
....blink....blink....BLINK....
....OH....MY.....GOD....!!!!
there i was, sitted in a very posh restaurant. on my left is this glass window. when i look out, there's the Twin Tower, and KLCC Park, and another tall building. gosh the scenery was beautiful! its all green, with the Twin Tower standing majestically behind it all.
i was sitting on this single seater, Darling opposite me, on our table was a glass of red, red roses. Along with the roses were 4 huge lollipops...one of a monkey holding a peach, one of a Hello Kitty character, one heart shape that says "Kiss Me" and another heart shape that says "I Love You"
Next to me stood one waiter and one waitress. when i finally saw them, they wished me Happy Valentine's with smiles....smiles that say "this guy is so sweet. this girl is so lucky to have him. this scene is so touching" i was truly speechless. and i was still trying to make sense of everything that was unfolding so quickly before my eyes. i kept asking questions...where? what? omg...why...omg omg! Dear just sat there smiling, so i asked the waitress "Where am i?" She smiled and told me i was in Trader's Hotel. Aha!!!
We had fine-dining, or rather, fine-lunching. i love the setting of this restaurant...its Gobo Upstairs in Trader's Hotel. omg, i just love everything that Dear had planned!
As we ate, Dear told me he had planned all these before he even left for China. he surveyed online on various hotels, then made reservation and personally visited Gobo Upstairs to see the real setting compared to pictures. he said he booked the flowers online, but didnt expect them to prepare it in a glass. after 2 weeks, finally my appetite returned. finally the sun came out and shine on my life again! ^_^ we ate, we chatted, we laughed...gosh it was just great to be by his side again
after dessert, Dear paid, and we were on our way to check out the lower floor of Gobo when suddenly, this man walked in with a bouquet of flowers. he asked the waitress for "Selena." i just stood there, more shocked than ever. i'd thought my surprises were over!!! OMG!!! apparently that was the bouquet that Dear ordered online, but they were delayed. those roses on the table was prepared by the hotel, along with the balloons on our chairs. OMG!!!
tell me, how is it possible to find a guy as sweet and romantic as that? tell me, what have i done to deserve such a guy? you know what? never mind. some things just cant be explained. Love cant be explained.
Love is illogical,
Love is selfless,
Love is both pain and joy combined together.
that was an amazing day.....the most wonderful Valentine's i've ever had. and it wasnt because of the amount of presents i received, or the price of the lunch, or the rating of the hotel, or the number of stalk of roses in the bouquet, or how romantic the ambience of the restaurant was. it was the fact that Dear went through so much preparation, took the effort to plan way way in advance before his trip, showed me how much he wished to share his experience in China with me by buying me little souvenirs, to take time off CNY preparation to spend his entire Friday with me, and taking the effort to surprise me with so much sweetness.
I Love You Dear....thank you for all your selflessness and thoughtfulness...thank you...
