30-Hour Famine

Hi all!

It's time for 30-hour Famine again!

This is an annual event where people all over Malaysia fast for 30 hours, participate in educational activities, and learn about the children living in poverty in other parts of the world

This program is organized by World Vision, a non-government organization that are involved in development of children and their communities.

During the first 26 hours, we will have group activities and performances to keep our mind of the hunger. We are trying to get several local celebrities and media to attend our mini concert in HELP University College. During the last 4 hours, we will all adjourn to Bukit Jalil Stadium for a nationwide Countdown Event. There will be performances by Michael Wong aka Guang Liang, who is this year's 30-hour Famine World Vision Ambassador, together with the 2 Famine Angels, Owen Yap and Gary Yap. There will also be other local artists and radio deejays present.

Do come and join this educational and fun event. It will be an eye opener for those who had been to comfy with their current lives. There is so much suffering in innocent young children that we are fortunate enough to not know of.
