Sel's Story: My Valentine's

I just came back from mamak session with Joe and Ally. Hmmm...when was the last time I catch up with Joe? Feels really good to hang out again!

Substance Abuse review was due today, so Mel came to my house on Saturday and we worked on it from 8am til 10pm. Well, you'd think we're crazy if you thought we worked non-stop. There was so many snacking breaks, breakfast-lunch-dinner and TV breaks, that it felt more like a girly outting. keke.

Yesterday I worked from 9am to 7pm...wah lau legs tired giler. When I came home I found homecooked dinner waiting at home! Wow~ If you know my family, homecook dinner happens probably 3 to 4 times a year. My kitchen don't have beras, garlic or onion in stock, like any ordinary kitchens. To use our cooking oil, soya sauce or ketchup also must double check expiry date 1st...

Oh yes....I'll post about my Valentine's celebration...

Belated, I know, but well, I'm a busy girl ^^

On 14th February...my day started with...Substance Abuse lecture with Dr Suguna Logan

Yeah, a replacement lecture on a Saturday, how fun right?

But doesnt matter...Darling was busy too...he had his Malaysian Paintball League (MY NPL) competition in Astaka, PJ

So...

He told me to go find him in Astaka after my class. I tot my surprise start then (yes I was already expecting a surprise, because Dear and surprises are quite predictable. hehe~). I was dressed up all ready to kaikai, mana tau end up in a male-dominated padang, where sweaty bruised guys around me made me feel uncomfortable.

But anyway, it was cool getting to know Dear's paintball team mates better. There was of cos Marcus and Josh Lim, and his 2 other members. Adoi, those 5 people seriously super extra gung-ho about a sport I only played once and don't see myself playing it full time

After paintball was over, guess what? Dear said we'll go home! *whining voice* But I was expecting some pretty flowers and nice meal and pampering session! *sob*

Then later in the evening...

Dear told me to go over to his house...

Hehehe...actually I had kinda guessed what my surprise was....

When he asked me to go over, lagi confirm my suspiciono...

So when I got there, he told me to close my eyes...

Lead me inside...

*TAH DAHHHH!!!*

I got a HUGE stresss ball and a stalk of rose

I got a big card, and underneath is a small bunch of flowers...3 stalks of pink roses ^^

Then...I peep in the kitchen...

Hmmm...

Darling cooked us dinner!

Dear made Western meal!

Got steam marinated chicken, fried onion rings, and mashed potato. Mashed potato was taught by Mei Qin, recipe originated from her Russian's boyfriend's mom, and the sauce was created by Dear...Cream Cheese + Mayonnaise. Chicken and onion rings were taught by Dear's mom.
