hey hey! im back!
duno why no mood to blog lately, although i've been pretty free lately. after midterm ended last week, i felt super free this week. since i've revised everything for midterm, didnt have to do much revision. and cos its school break i dun have to go to shelter home for community service. and all proposals have been completed, now its running project phase, and no projects will be launched til next week, so no assignments due. wah lau...too free til i felt so weird! keke
anyway, last sunday went dating with darling! we went to Mid Valley Garden...end up we spent most of our time in the old wing. what to do...no point spending time in a place we cannot even afford to window shop. Armani Exchange and Gucci aint our types now...and i asked Dear if he'll spend his money on these kinda brands if he can afford it. he shook his head, and said maybe one or two for special occasions, otherwise he wouldnt be wearing them. oh well, one of those "what-ifs" questions, but a good way to judge a person's personality, dun u think? =)
we went to watch Bourne Ultimatum, Gold Class! being first-timers in this supposedly luxurious cinema, we jakun-ly asked the cashier if food was provided as part of our ticket price (hey, they charged rm40 per pax, but can your cinema be 4 times grander to charge 4times more expensive?) well, apparently, they're really not including any other things except a seat. but the guy said we can bring outside food in. and since the queue to Glitter's Cafe was so long, we tot we'll just tarpau McD in. i mean, there should be certain privilege being in Gold Class, so perhaps they actually allowed ppl to bring in Starbucks or higher class food inside?
well well, apparently there was some misunderstanding, cos we were stopped and told that no outside food allowed. luckily that lady was being very polite and apologetic. so we also smiling smiling left our McD with her, and bought her food. paid extra fifty cents for every item purchased as compared to the outside queue, becos they served my Nestle machine teh tarik on porcelain cup instead of styrofoam. kekeke. so smart! well, all in all, paid rm30+ for movie snacks. then had to throw those McD food. ish...those children in poverty can live ten yrs longer taking our food!
inside the cinema, our seats were so huge darling was one arm away from me *sob sob* what kinda movie date is this?!?! hehe, ok la, complains aside, this is a good experience la. must try at least once of everything mar. now we know lor, that in Gold Class u get huge-ass leather chairs, less fellow cinema-ers, food n drinks served to u, personal table, and blanket rental service. hmmm...next time must try the 3-D cinema! yes yes...laugh if u wish, but i am that outdated that i had not tried Gold Class nor IMAX =( im a busy gal bah...busykin okie...not much time for entertainment! >.<
after movie we went to shop for running shorts! i have running competition this sunday, and darling bought me new running shorts! wee!! now i feel like some amatuer trying to look like a pro. kekeke. but i love, Love, LURVE me new shorts! really less resistance when running!
i've been training with my trainer/motivator/companion Coach EVO, and my timing keeps improving! Darling Coach measured the distance of 800m around our neighborhood, he holds on to all my belonging (i.e. handphone and keys), he times me, he jogs in front of me, he wipes my sweat after im done, and he keeps me training consistently! we've trained bout 2-3 times a week for the past 3 weeks...seriously, darling takes this competition more seriously than i do! ^o^ he was almost gonna control my entire diet...luckily he merely ensures i have enough carbs to burn... *phew* i think i control his diet more....muahahahaha!!!
i've been loving all my subjects this semester, really enjoying all those projects, but only this one person creates the only negative feeling i have this sem. masters an area while delivering worse than non-masters. being sarcastic in a foreign land. appearing OCD but trying to get away from heavy workload. sigh...lets just hope i can pull through...
i just found out recently that my Honors GPA does not take into account every subject since Year 1. so taking the best 5 subjects out of 7 subjects i've taken in Year 2, i am 0.10 point away from getting First Class Honors. oh gosh, i so so so hope i can get First Class. this means i've gotta work my arse off next yr, cos not only i need to reach those scores, i'll need to maintain them too *big worried frown* if only i wasnt within a reachable distance from 3.75...then i wouldnt need to stress myself out...i'll just happily accept the fact that i'll only graduate with a Second Upper. but now...it is possible...so i'll be stupid to not work for it...*aihs*
ok lor, im gonna do some self-studying for a subject which i learn nothing in class. wish me luck...and if possible tell me why did i pay rm1,100 for a subject which i not only learn nothing in class, i also leave the 40mins class feeling all angry and disappointed and disgusted?
p/s: i participated in another event, 4x4 relay! meaning running 800m + 400m!
p p/s: my grandma is here to stay! gonna put on weight with her homecooked food! *help*
