oh my glorious moment

hello!

am feeling damn piss with major sudden changes on my pc right now, as well as sudden obstacle to survey project (yes, again), so let me relive my glorious triumph day to ease my mood

last sunday was my running event! yes the big day i've been preparing for!! Darling picked grandma and i at 7am, and we reached an empty Matsushita Stadium by 7.30am. i was told to reach before 8am, so i did, but only when i reached was i told that HELP's organization skills, erm, put in a nice way, can do with more improvements la....(sorry yeah, found out that many surprising ppl read my blog too, so i can never be too careful with my choice of words!)

yeah, back to my story, i had my own support team to back me up! my super sweet, super supportive, super enthusiastic Darling-Coach, and my proud Granny! Darling really is so so sweet, even to Granny. he prepared breakfast for us, he sacrificed his Sunday by waking up super early and driving us here. then Granny and Dear spent half the day just sitting on the benches, watching students run round and round the same track

the event supposed to start at 8am, starting with 100m, 200m, 800m, 400m, 4x100m, 1500m and 4x400m. i participated in the 800m and 4x400m relay. but only by 9am that i finally see organizers trying to start the first race =.=

so this is B. Psych's team! we're the most supportive and noisiest team, jumping screaming shouting dancing and cheering for every single member. but then again, ever heard of empty cans make the loudest noise? lol...im damn mean...but yeah, we didnt do very well. ok la, Psych students are too busy with exams and assignments and projects that we dont have time to train sufficiently for this event. as for me, im just plain lucky!! ho ho, external attribution! i fit the characteristics of Asian very well!

whoopie! this is me getting ready for my first run of the day, 800m event. really lucky that there were significantly much fewer female runners as compared to males. so i didnt have that many competitors. as u can see, there were 5 of us...2 from B.Psych (Yee Ling & I), 1 from A-Level, 1 from HMC, 1 from ADP.

and how did i do? well well well....i managed to attract a bunch of supporters cheering 166 loudly by the end of the day, so i guess i must have impressed them to some extend! keekke yes i've got a Gold medal!!! really so thankful that Dear has been training me for the past one month. bcos of training that i managed to build back my stamina, and managed to overtake the rest at the remaining 100m. my gosh, i never knew how it feels like to sprint past others cos im super bad in sprinting, but this time i managed to sprint pass them bcos i have slightly more energy left. oh my victorious moment!! oh my short moment of glory!!

next up i ran 4x400m relay with Pui Kit, Roberta and Yee Ling. we were sorta trying to play mind games with the other teams by not letting them know that im the last runner. wanna let them drop their guard wor. haha, yeah right. i was the last runner, but by the time i received my baton and started running the other teams were already almost reaching finishing line @_@ since i was the last runner of the last event, and competing with noone else, i kinda feel like i was a performer on a very huge stage. but i could hear my audience cheering for me "166! 166! 1-6-6!" wah lau...my fan club were good!!! ngekngekngek!!

well, these are my relay teammates...

and we still won bronze medal!! kakaka yes yes, there were only 3 teams in total!!! >.<

well, right after prize giving ceremony Dear flew from Shah Alam to Kepong bcos i was very late for my cousin's funeral. my family received a very shocking news on Sat morning, and whole weekend was busy with funeral and prayers. shall not mention more bout his death though, but rest assured that i am ok!

Dear took a video of my 800m race...shall let u guys know when he post it up la!

alrightey, thats all for now, nitez peepz!!
