February 14...it was great...as great as all dates with Darling go...
remember i had some "work" to do the night before Valentine's? well...
i was busy making these...
20 of them actually...
as well as preparing a certificate...
and prepare a dice... ^o^
i was super excited when i woke up in the morning. i had a very secretive plan up my sleeve. i had to get busy before Darling comes over!
when he got over he had an almost "orgasmic" experience...
then, his syok-ness was overcome by curiosity, when something he bit inside the choc wasnt a piece of nut...
soon he was filled with excitement and exhilaration, as he went on treasure hunt in my house
to the microwave, the drink cabinet, the chair beneath the chandelier, mom's crystal cave, bookshelves, drawers, below my bed, and finally sitting on my bed...im trying to make u think it was a naked me sitting invitingly on my bed, but no, haha these were the results of his searching spree..
we watched High School Musical 2 as we had a very chocolatey breakfast. oh man, the show makes u feel like dancing and singing along! such a waste i didnt get to take a pic of Darling immitating Troy. for those who had watched this movie, don't u feel the scene of Troy running on the open field, singing "Bet On Me" and his super determined face reminds u of Bollywood movies???
i was supposed to plan the first half of the day, and i had intended to go Sunway Lagoon. i miss the mixed feeling of excitement and fear while riding roller coaster, and i know Darling would love it too. but Darling said he has something planned too, and it would not be worth it to pay rm90 for two hours of play. so we forgo Lagoon, and went ahead with Darling's plans...
i really had no idea where we were going, what we would be doing, or how long we'll be out. i got my tips bit by bit, and i found out we were going Pavilion...
i thought since we were so near Yee Hua's place, we can meet up with her before she flies back to Australia last night. when i called her, such a coincidence that she was already in Pavilion with her brother. so we met up for donuts at J.Co...
after they left, yet again i was unsure what Dear had in mind. so he told me "i know that when girls receive gifts, the joy is not in opening a wrapped present and discovering the present, but its in the process of shopping for a present" hahaha yesh! Darling brought me shopping for my own Valentine's gift!
he already had in mind what he wants to get for me. a new jacket to replace my dull-colored and not-so-thick jackets i currently own. weeee~ we went from shops to shops, Elle Active, Diadora, Adidas, Stadium, Puma, Fila, Nike, Stadium, Roxy, Pull & Bear, MNG, Esprit, aiyo whatever clothes shop we saw in Pavilion la. in the end, we decided on this Ex-Gal jacket...
so, secret plan #1 is over. what's next? i have no idea...until Dear brought me across the road, into Planet Hollywood. hehehe...we are having our Valentine's dinner in Planet Hollywood!!!
the deco was really nice. the bottom level only cater to couples who order the Valentine dinner set, so every table had a tealight candle and every chair had a heart-shape balloon tied on it. balloons were all over the ceiling, rose petals were thrown all over the table and floor, and romantic ballads were playing. i had never seen so many couples out at the same time, what more sitting in an all-couple dining place. damn cool!!!
after that was surprise #3...
Dear and i found an unused table along Bkt Bintang road. he was carrying a huge paperbag the whole time we were out, and i was not allowed to ask what's inside. so he told me to sit down and close my eyes. when i could opened them...
a handmade fondue!!! Dear made his own burner stool, bought a burner fuel holder, attached mini firework to the stool, borrowed some burner fuel from a restaurant, and intended to melt Swiss chocolate so that we can dip fruits in choc. isnt he super sweet and super creative?
but i had just melted a whole pot of choc the night before, so i am very sure those little fuel would not be sufficient to melt 2 bars of chocolate. poor poor Darling was so sad when he realized his plans had failed...
but to me, the self-prepared dessert was the best part of the entire day, better than luxurious shopping and expensive dinner. the sacrifice of time and effort to think of this idea, to twist and turn a long strand of wire into a stool stable enough to support a bowl, to ask around for burning fuel, to buy a burner specially to fit his creation, and to add on firework to spark up the entire bowl, is a million times more touching than the sacrifice of money. he had never tried this before, and he knew the sparks would catch unwanted attention, but he took the risk nevertheless. he even cut his own apple and pear and strawberry and banana to be dipped into our choc. i know i am truly a very lucky girl...
^o^
