u know what, im used to saying "Harlow" but not when i found out Harlow is the name of some celebrity's newborn. such a poor innocent child had been given the name "Prawn Man"
anyway, last night i went for Jia Ling's 21st bday bash in Legend Hotel. it was Japanese buffet dinner in Gen Restaurant. met plenty of foundation friends whom i havent meet since i went into Psych. many of them were actually back from Aussie for year-end break, so lots of stories to hear
anyway, i just got back from dinner, and am not in a good mood. shall just paste pics of last night, stolen from Nat's Flicker page

today i went to Niuzecui in Ara Damansara. sounds odd? even odder to me, as i never heard of it til i see it with my own eyes. its actually Nu Che Shui in Mandarin, Ngau Cheh Sui in Cantonese, or Cow Car Water in direct English translation.
its a new commercial area, started operating 1st Jan this year, and it has a flea market concept with Petaling Street kinda feel. imagine Curve flea market with Petaling Street kinda plastic shade, Petaling Street kinda stalls between shoplots with Curve flea market kinda floor tiling, and very very much more spacious walking space compared to both these places.
there were stalls selling all kind of things, from clothes, shoes and accessories to pirated CDs to hair barber to little coffee stalls to Starbucks and Big Apple Donut.
