yay yay! pics are here!
ok on thursday, 30th August 2007, darling fetched me from house, and we headed to nat's place. expected serious traffic jam (after-work traffic+merdeka eve countdown crowd) but the roads were smooth! we tot, ok la, still very early. 6.30pm only mar...see, the road heading out of kl very jam what. still too early to rush for countdown lor. so fine, we pick Nat, then parked opposite KL Sentral. we were really trying to avoid the after-countdown madness, so decided to enter the town via Monorail.
the 3 of us supposed to meet Soo Ann and Deniece for dinner in KLCC, then head to The Loft to meet up with other old school mates. mana tau Deniece suddenly got family dinner. and Soo Ann decided to "interfere" with Deniece's family dinner, so tinggal tiga kaki. luckily we managed to get Joyce, so agreed to meet her for dinner near Sheraton Imperial.
on our way to Sheraton, suddenly Joyce said she's eating with family inside Sheraton! =.=" poor Nat really had to be lamppost, no matter how hard she tried to avoid. kekekekeke. we first entered The Loft, not bcos we were craving for alcohol at 8pm, but due to certain stingy reasons *ngek ngek ngek* ok la, i aint complaining, cos i had a free mocktail! >.<
it was cool being inside a club before it starts getting pack. ok it was empty except for staffs, and i could see clearly the entire furnishing of the club before my view gets blocked by throngs of people. not a bad place, all the flaws cleverly hidden by cool lightings. i really dun wanna imagine how it would look like if police raid, and they had to on white lights. definitely not a pretty sight for such a rundown place!
check out the clever lightings...along with 2 gorgeous (and sober) ladies...
our stomachs were growling since in the Monorail, so had to order fruit mocktail first. not very wise to get drunk at 8pm. so someone kept his precious passport, and we went out searching for food. what kinda decent dinner can we have in Asian Heritage Row? well...well....surprise surprise, but we found mamak hidden among the row of clubs! huHUHUH!!!! joyce came to join us for her "2nd dinner" so we makan and catch up. that girl had been in Uni of Manchester for the past 9 months, so we asked lots of UK stories lor...
Dear and i also must take pic la...but not obvious that we're in a mamak hor?
hooray!!! finally Soo Ann and Deniece arrived! so....what else...masuk club lor!!!
only 3 of us had beer. the rest were too HIGH CLASS for low-class beer >.<>
Deniece was telling us bout her clubbing experience in India. that girl went to India to study Dentistry early this year, but she couldnt stand the living condition there, so she stopped her course and came back for good. by now she would be in Kedah, attending orientation in AIMST. also studying dentistry, but in a not-so-foreign land ^o^ back to her story, Deniece said she travelled 5hrs to the nearest club. FYI, clubs in India (or at least the one she went) operate from 7.30pm til 11pm. ONLY. by 11pm the police will come in and ask everyone to go home. so Malaysians, be very thankful we have such flexible entertainment industry =) anyway she learnt the Bangla dance, so Dear and I itched for some coconut tree dance...
huhuhu...takda coconut tree, so pilla will have to do. well, the alcohol starts hitting the head, so this is how Natalie looks...
Darling also wanna dance sexy dance wor...so pose with him lor...
and then, that guy still not syok enough, said he wants to take pic with the whole gang of lenglui wor. sigh...greedy anot u say?
by then it was still early. people were just starting to warm up their feet, feeling less shy, slowly shuffling towards the dance floor. but i was in no mood to party, no mood to dance, and totally controlling my alcohol intake. sigh...im still small girl mar...and very good girl mar...so got curfew lor. had to leave when the party just began *throw handphone down on the floor in frustration* what to do, who ask me to be sick???
this is the view from the balcony of The Loft...

at bout 11.30pm, Li Peng and Fui Sze arrived with a bunch of their friends. spoke to a few of them, assume most of them were also Malaysians studying in UK. i had to leave soon after, but at least i was in time to see Li Peng and Fui Sze. ish, potong steam betul!!!
but u know what...as Dear and i took the monorail back to his car, we saw that roads in KL were soooo smooth!!! we would have drove straight to Loft!!! haha doesnt matter la, we still got home in less than an hour ^_^
despite my health and early chao-ing, i still had a great time. just very disappointed i didnt get to meet Praba. she ffk us for the 2nd time in one week!!! sigh...another time la...another time la...
