Sel's Story: our 1st year anniversary~

on 9th september 2006, i blogged about this in my old blog:

yep, the day i was officially introduced to a totally different level of happiness. since then, my perception of how a guy should treat his girlfriend totally changed, bcos the treatment that i received was beyond my ideal image. i really never ever could imagined that a guy could be so selfless and loving and well-balanced...what more to ever think that he is in love with me...

and i cant believe i've been in love with him more a year now.

yesterday we celebrated our 1st yr anniversary in advance, thinking that he would need to be away for business trip on 9th sept, and also due to certain restrictions...

initially, dear planned to surprise me. i wasnt supposed to know that i would be meeting him yesterday. but he had no choice but to spill a little of the plan to me, bcos i mentioned about going movies with collegemate. can u believe how sweet he is...that even after 12 months, he still tried so many ways to surprise me?

well well well, for sure he aint very happy that his plan werent as surprising as he planned, but that doesnt reduce his suspense one bit. he told me he would be picking me up at 1pm in college, but when i called him at 12.45pm, he sounded sleepy and groggy, and told me he was so sleepy he took a nap. i was laughing away the whole time, knowing his tricks too well by now, but i promised him i would act surprise when i see him so i played along lor...

kekeke...so at 1.15pm, he sms to say he finally woke up. leaving now wor. then he called again..said very jam near our house, that he'll reach in 3 HOURS wor =.=" he ah...dunno when to give up wan...i obviously know what he's up to la... *hmph*

keke he was actually outside, so i quickly went to find him lor. so i opened the door, and "OMG dear!!! what are u doing here? how come u're in my college wan? u're supposed to be working in office!!!" huhhu...i fulfilled my part of the promise!!! >_<

after that, i lead him to DeCanters in Damansara Heights for lunch. but before we went down, my turn to surprise him! i first gave him one gift. told him its his clue to his "real" surprise. so he opened...and saw...a rolled up wire. he excitedly asked "omg! dear, u got me a camera ah?!?!" =.=' yeah yeah, maybe i wrapped up my old 3.1 megapixel camera for him la. huhuhu but damn, his first guess was so close! so gave him the other box...jeng jeng jeng...

i got him a webcam!! got one for each of us actually! =) yay yay now we both can see each other although our houses is 5mins walk away from each other ^o^

then...it was his turn...

a card which he modified himself...
and this month's issue of Cleo. he said his surprises have yet to come...*ooh~*

so we went down to makan. had Mushroom soup, Grilled Chicken Chop and Grilled Mackerel, Lime and Sour Sop smoothies, Lychee ice-blended. do u know that we both had put on weight? =(

after lunch, he drove us somewhere, which i wasnt supposed to know. he got a call, which he went "hello...yeah...yeah...the 1st one. yes, thank you. we'll be there soon." woo...got my mind racing so fast! i wanna discover my surprise before he surprise me!!! i kinda guess of eating dessert, cos he told me to find a place for lunch which isnt too filling. hmmm...where la...

then he turned into Telawi...and then parked in Bangsar Village II. hmmm...omg...dun tell me we're going for dessert in Delicious? Nat was recommending Delicious when i asked her where to go for lunch. imagine i surprised him with the place he intended to surprise me...

but no wor...he lead me up to 3rd floor. hmmm...then i could guess...MANICURE!!! he had mentioned bout wanting to bring me last time. kekeke i just kept quiet lor. on our way up we passed by Sakae Sushi, and saw lots of cute frogs behind the cashier. so...yipie! darling bought one for me although i didnt ask for it!

huhuhu...then he brought me into...Glitters Nail and Hand Spa! he booked a hand spa package for me! and...and...the package was called Chocolate Indulgence!!!

first the lady cut and file my nails. so sad...i just cut my nails in class that very morning!!! ='(

there...my neatly trimmed and filed nails, with my cute froggie and even cuter photographer as companions...
then it was time to scrub, with the sugar scrub smeling of dark chocolate...
after that, it was super rich and dark smelling hand mask. my hands were wrapped up in cling foil to increase absorption
then she wrapped again...in towel...
my poor darling sat there and watched throughout the entire process! after removal of mud, its time for the last beautifying process: nail polish! hehehe check out the color darling suggested, and i decided...
BLACK COLOR!!! what better way to remember this amazing pampering gift than to polish it the color i've always wanted to try but never had the guts? i mean, black nails are usually associated with rebels or "bad" girls. i was so surprised when darling liked it! he said it was sexy! *wee~!!!!*

darling said there is still one more surprise after my hand spa. oh this time i am SOOOO SURE it was gonna be dessert. and i could kinda guess where too!!! dear told me to bring him to where i suspected later...so impatiently i dried my nails...

hehehe then i brought darling to...Haagen Daaz!!! and i was right!!! kekeke he had once promised me he would bring me to eat ice-cream, bcos when i was sick i could only watch my family indulge ice cream. he promised me he would buy me even nicer ice-cream...and here it is!!!

wah...Belgian Chocolate and Tiramisu, topped with Caramel and Cookie Crumbs. yummie!!!
