disappointments...

dad had always warned me that out there in the "real" world, everyone is very selfish and manipulative, only wanting to get the best for themselves. he said to not trust ppl too much, cos your own best friend can let u down. like how this guy kidnapped his own so-called best friend because his friend shared with him stories of his wealthy dad. what he forgot to warn me is that ppl closest to us are more likely to disappoint us...close as in...related by blood...

anyway, guess disappoint is part of life, part of growing up. and who's better to let u down than ppl who've known u all your life?

a good way to knock me awake from my naiveness again. time and time again i let myself believe that everyone is nice, everyone is understanding. oh well, hello sel, just bcos u try to think from ppl's perspective before reacting doesnt mean everyone does that too! *slap own face* wake up girl~!

but disappointment only mar. so many ppl have lived through it, why cant i? and im still alive, my survival aint threaten. self esteem only mar...can pick up in no time la! >.<

oh yeah, let me tell u a story of an uncivilised person. if u ppl read Nat's blog, well, this is a more serious case of uncivilization.

Scenario: On a road, along a road in a housing area, called Lestari Mansions

This girl felt the need to let go some steam, so she decided to go jogging. she started by walking out her house, walking to warm up. as she passed by this house, whom she had earlier been a hero and rescued the abused dog living in it, the owner coincidentally just reached home. he came out of his car with both his sons.

when he saw me, i mean, this girl, he stared at her. she steadily stared back, because she felt very proud of what she did to his dog, and she had no respect for him at all. then the drama started:

Mr. B.T.: kepochi...
Girl: why are u so childish?
Mr. B.T.: childish? *smirk* finding another dog to f*** ah, bitc*?
Girl: Hey! watch your language la! both your sons are here ok!
Mr. B.T.: watch my language? u f***ing b****!
Girl: *with a big bright smile* have a nice day!

and girl continue jogging, wishing she had told him that she had gotten him fined for dog abuse, she can sue him for verbal abuse too

hehehe...so, who's story define "uncivilised" better? Nat's or mine?
