do i know my dad?

hey peeps...

regarding my above topic, its not in a bad way. in fact, i've got a pretty pleasant surprise. he surprised me, ervin and mom on Mother's Day! he woke me so abruptly from my nap, and announced that we're going for dinner in half an hour. when i asked where are me going, he just answered "dinner la.."

i just woke up, feeling so groggy and blur, and his answer got me even more confused. what kinda dress code? with whom are we eating with? so unlikely for him to plan Mother's Day celebration, cos he doesnt even believe in birthday celebrations! well, looks like noone knows what's going on, and as far as i know him, we're either going for some Chinese food with either neighbors or his friends. definitely not with Dear cos he was in Curve with his family. although i kept telling myself not to get my hopes too high, my mind couldnt help wondering. maybe Dad actually had a secret plan with Dear, thats why he was so secretive bout the title of the movie he said he was gonna watch. maybe..maybe..maybe...

in the end, guess what? Dad drove and parked next to this Star Village Western Food in OUG. wow...he led us inside! the setting of this restaurant is...WoW~!!! so tranquil yet exotic! there were many mist fan blowing, and the setting was very Balinese. decoration was very detailed. we got a seat, and we ordered. apparently it'll be only us. hmmm...ok...things are geting weirder and weirder. for those who knows my dad, he usually says Western food are not worth it. and looking at the prices on the menu, these are definitely prices he would grumble about. instead, he told us to go ahead and order...steak, grilled chicken, grilled fish, even escargot...

i was just...plan shocked...but didnt mention anything. in fact, nobody mentioned anything... just smiles and eat. if i was previously more intimate with my dad, i would have gushed at him "aww...thanks daddy! so sweet of u! what makes u bring us here???"

but nope, i didnt say anything...

anywya, i just got back my laptop! wow..its like brand new! so much faster, look so neat, got a beautiful wallpaper, have all programs customized for my own personal usage only. well, this old trustable laptop is bout 4 to 5yrs old already, but its functioning like brand new. i know nothing bout the specs, but it definitely got my Personal IT Guy, Darling Dear envious of my "new" toy. kekeekke...mwhehehehe...

he definitely did an amazing job! previously it lags so badly i take half an hour to load microsoft words, couldnt recognize most thumbdrives, expired antivirus, hmmm, every possible glitches la. now, wow, just...WOW...

oh yeah, results out today. im super pleased with my psych subjects, but i also got a stewpeed C+...my first ever C in my entire academic transcript. cis...now i dun like u as much anymore, Mr Sidhu. wasted all my effort of complementing you in my blog. is this how u repay my kindness? argh~!!!

but then again, looking at my other four subjects, wow...this is the best results i've ever got, ignoring my Asian Biz result. hmmm...maybe i really should take up 5 subjects next sem, bcos it just seems like the continous stress got me working hard....

anyway, gotta get studying for quiz now. kekeke...new semester, new motivation to work hard. lets see if motivation can last til end of sem ok? ^o^
