megasale!

im back!

today went for retail therapy! gosh i love megasale!!! today's main purpose of going to OneU was to buy formal attire for my corporate internship starting in july. we left house bout 10am this morning....me, mom n mom's mom (3 generation of shopping crazy women). first stop was an ex-neighbor, family fren's house in Wangsa Baiduri, opposite Subang Holiday Villa.

this ex-neighbor was this couple Desmond and Lien Yee. mom was there to talk bout Pharmanex supplement with Aunty Lien Yee, so Uncle Desmond talked to me, and he said many interesting things.

U.D.: so, where's your boyfren? he lived near you right? i met him in Uncle Albert's house before right?
Me: yeah, yeah *happy smiley nod*
U.D.: the younger or the older brother?
Me: the elder wan...
U.D.: owh...so the elder wan tackle u la! so what does he do? he's an engineer right? working in...Motorola isit?
Me: no...he used to work in Sony, but now working in parents' company
U.D.: *lifted eyebrow in surprise* wow, parents' company huh? what do they do?
Me: they're like middleman, import machinery parts like shafts n rolls from China and distributing to India. parts used for steel mills la. got parts from UK and other countries too, and supply to other countries besides India, like Pakistan, Egypt, local companies
U.D.: OH! machineries components ah! wow!

then, in another part of our conversation, Uncle Desmond talked bout the many countries he had visited (he's now an engineer in Gardenia, but previously he was an engineer on ship). he said Venice, Paris, Rome and Las Vegas are amazing, totally different planet.so he planned my honeymoon destination for me....first stop London, then fly south to Paris, Venice, Rome, then long flight to New York n Las Vegas, ending with Hawaii before coming back. wow...if only...

keke Uncle Desmond also "adviced" me, to marry a guy only if he has his own car and own house. and his money is my money, but my money is my money. lolz...he's a cool guy! and first time receiving such a male-biased advice from a man!!! *lol!!!*

after mom settle supplement purchase stuff stuff with Auntie Lien Yee, we went to ss15 post office to renew my driving licence. gosh, i wouldnt realise licence expired if i didnt go bank yesterday. yesterday went to open joint account with mom in Maybank, and the banker was the one who found out that licence last day yesterday @_@ so today, mom drove all the way til i got my licence renewed. hehe the next time i gotta worry bout expired licence is 5yrs later!!!

just read alex's blog bout how horrible Pos Malaysia's service was. and compared to my impression of trip to Pos Malaysia today. lol so contrasting! the branch in SS15 looked sooooo good.....make the branch near my house (seri kembangan) look like some rundown ancient post office =.=" there were parking lots, nicely trimmed plants, brightly painted walls, and air-conditioned inside. furnishings looked very new, and they even sell birthday cards and stationery inside =.=" i got my renewal done in 5mins too!!! dun need pic, dun need thumbprint, dun need get angry at man over counter. considerably pleasant experience!

after post office, it was MY turn to drive! keke happily took over the wheels (YAY!), and got caught in jam all along LDP (yikes...)

in OneU, we bought sunglasses, earrings, shoes, baby-T, kitchen utensils, necklace, watch, everything but working clothes. lol. finally we stopped ourselves from being distracted, and went into Eclipse. just like the colors n cuttings they have to offer...but sigh...they also love super low-cut blouses. i really believe their blouses and dresses are not meant to be worn with bra inside. why dun they just sell them with padding readily sewn?

i tried on so many, but in the end bought one piece only. mom also tried quite alot, but their babydoll dresses really made ppl looked pregnant. keke so basically Eclipse clothes look good when its hanging on hanger, but cutting is not so ngam on body. well, on me and my mom only. i shall not generalised >.<

next was G2000....sooooo boring! dun working ppl know how to appreciate colors? white and black and various tone of grey and beige ARE NOT COLORS!!! one glance in G2000 was enought to got me running away. went into Accent, and i think i'll be a frequent customer for this shop la. wah lau, like the sales girl said, the cutting of this brand just fits me perfectly! every piece i put on, it just fit at the right places. look so professional baby! bought 4 blouses there... ^_^

after that, went into Edmunser. i saw they had orange suits, so gatal la, go try this orange linen pants. sigh...i've put on weight ady...look so fat in them. and felt even worse when mom looked so good in size S while i was bulging everywhere in size M. got so envious and frustrated, i decided to leave the shop n accompany grandma outside *hmph!*

we had enough of clothes. went to popular to buy stationeries. had to buy as much as possible while mom (or rather, mom's credit card) is still around. by then, it was 6.30. we went to this hair salon, Russell, to pass something to mom's fren's son. he's a hairdresser there, and from one look he could tell that i just cut my hair bout 1 month ago. wow!!! when i mentioned that i felt like dying my hair, he recommended this color, which really REALLY suited what i had in mind!!! mom n i will be going back to him next month!!! ^o^

finally we left at 7pm. had been in OneU since 1pm. but time seemed to fly past so fast. it seemed that Darling was sms-ing me every few mins. keke he was so sweet...i told him mom dun like me sms-ing too often while walking or eating or shopping. but darling didnt mind, and i felt like he was with me the entire day thru his one-way sms....*lots of huggies to my understanding darling*

yes it had been a great day shopping. initially was quite doubtful that i will have fun. due to recent incidents, not really eager to be in the same room with parents, what more spend entire day with mom. but well, its all in my head, just gotta control my negative thoughts. maybe it was also bcos mom was in generous and happy mood

well, hopefully things will remain this way la. i dun want to think bout it for now. maintain my good mood =) time for bed! nitez!!!
