hey peepz
i survived 2 weeks of nerdiness. am i going insane soon? i definitely would if Dear wasnt staying so near...
this is stupid. i only go out for dinner on weekends, and marketing on sundays. otherwise, im home from morning til night every thurs, fri, sat and sun
like i say, i finished my movie character analysis 4 days before its due. i finished studying for midterm 3days before exam. im getting started on assignment which is due in 6days. AND im getting 7 to 8 hrs of sleep every night
can u imagine the life im living?
give me any depression or insanity scale now, i definitely score higher than normal healthy individuals. i know i for sure am scoring high for self-pity at this moment
u know, i realise im more individualist than collectivist. i cant stand ppl trying to interfere with each other's business, wanting to give personal opinion and feel hurt when not accepted. i mean, i like living in harmony, knowing my neighbors, my collegemates, parents' frens, as many ppl as possible, and having good relationship with everyone too. but when things get TOO close, thats when things get ugly
ppl are just so different. interpret one simple gesture with so many perspective. something innocent to me might be offensive to others. something i view as kind and thoughtful might be seen as intrusive. i just dun understand why ppl must judge each other so easily. i just dun understand why ppl are so cautious and defensive. but since i've finished studying social psych, let me share with u two theories that might help answer my questions:
Positivity Effect: tendency to evaluate individual human beings more positively than groups or impersonal objects
Negativity Effect: tendency for negative traits to be weighted more heavily than positive traits in impression formation
guess im still stuck in positivity effect. maybe i havent seen the negative traits that others had view. but i think i am just more empathetic than the normal level of empathy
